INTRODUCTION:
Welcome to Ms. Christmas’s site for MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE & AMERICAN HISTORY at Somerset South Homestead (SoHo) Academy.
RULES:
The student will:
• follow directions the first time they are given;
• raise your hand to ask questions
• be on time for class;
• be prepared to participate in the learning activities of the class;
• keep hands, feet and objects to oneself: and
• complete all assignments on time.

- 1 INCH, 3 RING BINDER
- 1 SOFT BOOK COVER (for textbook)
- BLUE PENS & RED PENS
- SPIRAL NOTEBOOK
ATTENDANCE:
Any student who has been absent from school will be marked unexcused until they submit the required documentation. Failure to provide this documentation within 3 days will result in an unexcused absence.
UNEXCUSED ABSENCES:
1. Absences due to vacations, personal services, local non-school event, program or sporting activity
2. Absences due to older students providing day care services for siblings
3. Absences due to illness of others
4. Absences due to non-compliance immunization requirements (unless lawfully required)

COMMUNICATION:
Students will create an EduBlogs account in order to access course resources online through my website, www.MsXmas.EduBlogs.Org. Homework assignments will be posted daily just in case students forget their assignments. Students can ask me questions about assignments online and converse with other students about classwork only. Communication on this site is essential for group assignments, reports, and projects. I want students to initially interact with each other and consult me only if more assistance is required.
